Henry Charles
Henry Charles is a Lhasa Apso, an ancient breed with roots in Tibet and the Himalayas. Empathetic, remarkably intelligent and decidedly regal, Henry seems to know exactly when someone needs a little extra love. He carries himself less like the family dog and more like the gentleman who owns the house.
And perhaps adventure is in his DNA. With his breed's roots high in the Himalayas, it seems only fitting that Nepal—and the mighty Mount Everest—becomes one of the destinations in Henry and Jimmy's adventures.
Jimmy
Jimmy is a Shih Tzu and the mischievous younger sidekick. Playful, curious and always ready for trouble, he has a talent for turning perfectly ordinary moments into adventures. His sweet face may suggest innocence. Do not be fooled.

About the Book
A story of friendship, family and discovery
The Adventures of Henry Charles and Jimmy is an upcoming children’s book written by sisters Chantelle Austen and Juliana Austen, inspired by their beloved dogs and their imaginations. Through friendship, family, humour, and big adventures, Henry Charles and Jimmy discover just how far curiosity — and a little courage — can take them.
Juliana also helped shape the book’s visual world through creative direction, guiding the characters, settings, scenes, and overall artistic vision. The book’s illustrations were developed using generative AI as a creative tool under this direction.

From artist to storyteller
